Karīna Panova

Radiologist
Specializes in radiological diagnostics of breast diseases. In her practice, the doctor follows an individualized approach for each patient, combining medical guidelines with thorough case evaluation. She is proficient in all major breast imaging modalities – mammography, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging – allowing the most appropriate examination to be selected based on the patient’s age, symptoms, and anatomical characteristics. Particular attention is given to clear and understandable communication, ensuring patients are well informed about the examination process and next steps.

Radiologist Karīna Panova acquired her expertise in breast imaging diagnostics during her residency at the Latvian Oncology Centre. She has been working daily with breast imaging for more than six years and regularly enhances her professional knowledge by attending congresses organized by the European Society of Breast Imaging (EUSOBI).

She is a member of the European Society of Breast Imaging (EUSOBI), the European Society of Radiology (ESR), the Latvian Association of Radiologists, and the Latvian Association of Ultrasonographers.
