Anete Rozentālberga

Pediatric surgeon
Paediatric surgeon Anete Rozentālberga consults and treats children from birth to 18 years of age. She has experience in both acute paediatric surgery and planned surgical procedures. Her professional interests include neonatal surgery, the treatment of vascular anomalies, paediatric oncological surgery and general paediatric surgery, including the surgical treatment of various types of hernias, phimosis, undescended testes, hydrocele, as well as skin and subcutaneous lesions. In her work with children and their parents, the doctor values open, respectful and calm communication, as well as a clear and easy-to-understand explanation of the next steps in diagnosis and treatment.

She further developed her professional experience during a fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital in the United States. Alongside her clinical work, she is a lecturer at the Department of Paediatric Surgery at Riga Stradiņš University. She is a member of the Latvian Association of Paediatric Surgeons and the European Paediatric Surgeons’ Association.
